Watch Brian Williams Get To Be A Proud Dad On National Television

When Brian Williams found out that his daughter, Allison Williams, landed the title role in NBC's upcoming Peter Pan Live!, we're guessing one or more of the following ensued: crying, screaming, laughing, hugging, squealing, sweating, shaking, and maybe even some skipping. Not necessarily in that order.
There's no greater joy for a parent than watching their child achieve their dreams. At least that’s what a parent once told us. And, according to Williams, his daughter has been dreaming about playing the boy who never grows up since she was three years old. It's an intimate tidbit the anchor shared last night on his NBC Nightly News broadcast, when Williams reported on his daughter's casting.

"Family members confirm that she's been rehearsing for this role since the age of three," he said, stone-faced. "They look forward to seeing her fly," he added, while a picture of a young Marnie in full Peter Pan regalia was displayed on the screen.
Though Williams — ever the professional — managed to contain his emotions on the outside, on the inside there was likely more of that crying, screaming, laughing, hugging, squealing, sweating, shaking, and skipping we told you about earlier. (Vulture)
