Dust off your Cranberries CD, Clueless fans. It's time to go rolling with the homies. No, the Internet hasn't reverted to the mid-'90s. There was actually an epic Clueless reunion in Los Angeles this week. It's been a whopping 19 years since Cher, Dionne, and the Beverly Hills gang first graced the screen, but the movie is still as beloved today as it was two decades ago. For proof, see the pictures from Tuesday night's screening of the classic flick as part of the ramp-up to the L.A. Film Festival.
Alicia Silverstone, Stacey Dash, and Elisa Donovan (a.k.a. Cher, Dionne, and Amber) got together again to celebrate the comedy and to seemingly show fans that they haven't aged one bit. They also reminisced about the movie that kicked off their careers. "I thought I was channeling Marilyn Monroe and Lucille Ball," said Silverstone of her role as Cher. "Obviously that wasn't the case. But I just felt like that! Especially when I pushed Elton off me at the house party. Those were the things that I found lovely."
Elisa Donovan chimed in about the good memories she has from the flick. "That was my first movie," she said. "So to have such an extraordinary group of people, and to have everybody be young and have so much fun, it was amazing." All in all, the ladies of Bronson Alcott High were positively glowing, and there wasn't a Dr. Seuss hat in sight. Now, that's progress. (Us Weekly)
