Photo: BEImages/Gregory Pace.The Clinton dynasty is getting a little bigger. Chelsea Clinton announced Thursday that she's pregnant. She's expecting her first child with husband Marc Mezvinsky.
Chelsea broke the news to an audience at the Clinton Foundation's "No Ceilings: The Full Participation" conference. "I just want to thank all of you for being such an inspiration to us and to me in particular," she said at the end of her speech. "Marc and I are very excited that we have our first child arriving later this year."
Former President Bill Clinton, tweeted his excitement moments after Chelsea shared the news. "Excited to add a new line to my Twitter bio...grandfather-to-be! @hillaryclinton and I are so happy for Chelsea and Marc!"
Hillary Clinton is said to have been in the audience, and, according to Business Insider, she was "beaming." Chelsea finished her big announcement by applauding the audience: "I certainly feel all the better, whether it’s a girl or a boy, that she or he will grow up in a world with so many strong, young female leaders."
