7 H&M Items We’d Swear Were High-End

At midnight on Sunday, Alexander Wang broke the news that he'd be collaborating with H&M, releasing his collection with the Swedish retailer on November 6 this year. So, it's safe to say that since 12:08 a.m. that day, we've had a hard time thinking of anything other than what kind of pieces we'd purchase come fall. But, we'd be seriously missing out if we waited that long to shop what the brand is stocking.
For the past week, we've been scoping out the new H&M arrivals and instantly saving links for some of the latest designs that look like they're way more expensive than the price on the tag. These affordable finds have smart embellishments, like tassels on drawstring pants and raw-edge finishings on woven dresses. The retailer's also taken classic silhouettes — such as the shirtdress and button-down — and given them a playful spin without succumbing to cheesy detailing or obvious knockoff signifiers. In other words, the seven pieces ahead give us an invitation to indulge in a bit of fast fashion — without any regret at the end of the season.
