Mindy Kaling’s SXSW Announcement Is HUGE!

Well, at least, it's HUGE for us. See, we love Mindy Kaling for the work she did on The Office. We love her for what she's doing right now on The Mindy Project. We also absolutely love the way she seems to win Twitter on a daily basis. But, more than all that, what made us fall deeply, permanently in love with her was her 2012 semi-memoir, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns). Now we've just heard that she's hard at work on a second book. See? HUGE.

While being interviewed on stage at Austin’s South By Southwest Interactive conference by Marie Claire EIC Anne Fulenwider on Sunday, Kaling spilled all of her various beans. Reports say she announced the creation of a second book but was scant on details including a name, focus, subject, or even a potential release date. What witnesses say, however, is that she did it in pure Mindy style, asking the audience to withhold their cheers until they've actually read the book. Dang, we love her.
