Are Finger Stamps The New Nail Art?

We go back and forth about the future of nail art all the time. Most editors predict it's going away, a lot of people think it's never going to die. How about we consider a new idea? Maybe it's just migrating to another place, like stamps on the fingers?
Style.com caught an Instagram snap posted by model Ming Xi backstage at the Chanel fall 2014 presentation. It featured some animated Kawaii-esque characters and designs on her digits around and below the knuckles. The colorful fist bump wasn't seen on the runway, but with cuticle tattoos and midi rings on the rise, perhaps colorful hand gestures are now being punctuated with art north (or south, depending on hand position) of the fingertips. Also, it is cute as hell.
We kind of feel like these brightly colored designs are just the right amount of fresh fun for spring. Pop on a stamp with a pastel manicure and you may pretty well have the world at your fingertips this coming season. Do you love it or is it too young for you? Put your stamp of approval or disapproval on this in the comments section. (Style.com)
