Not many of us know someone who bought their first home at 22. But, that's exactly what Georgia May Jagger, model and daughter of Jerry Hall and Mick Jagger, did. And, she didn't use her parents' fortune to make the big purchase — she used the money she's earned from her increasingly lucrative modeling career.
In a recent article in The Times, Jagger made it clear that she stands on her own two feet. “That was my dream as a kid, to own my home,” she says. “And, I know my mum is happy that I have managed to do it so young. My parents always instilled good values in us. We weren’t just given anything we wanted.” Thanks to campaigns with Rimmel, Hudson, Just Cavalli, and H&M, it doesn't look like Jagger will be asking for IOUs anytime soon.

But, the British beauty is well aware of the benefits of having famous parents. “Without question [my mom] opened doors for me, and I am very grateful for everything she and my dad have done for me.” She even turns turn her dad for a second look at any contracts. Yup, Jagger reveals the “Sympathy For The Devil” pa rock star knows a thing or two when it comes to business — and social media, too.
“He also taught me how to have a life, too. He is someone that is so recognised, but he does manage to keep his life private and he’s passed that on to me.” That means no oversharing on Twitter, except for the occasional pic of her beloved pup.
We hope this is just our first encounter with Jagger. No doubt, she's got a long career in front of her — as long as she listens to her mum and dad. (The Times)
