It only makes sense that the enigmatic persona that is Lana Del Rey would have an enigmatic engagement. News of the singer's summer engagement to Barrie-James O'Neill is just now beginning to surface.

Unnamed, exclusive sources told Us Weekly that the two have been affianced since the warmer months. Be gone summertime sadness; Del Rey might sing about you, but she's got no time for your antics any more! Though we're thrilled pop's resident sad gal has found love (in a hopeless place), we're curious to know what's going to happen to her songwriting. Will Ultraviolence/Ultra Violence (the verdict's still out on how it's properly spelled) be a more uplifting album? Various remixes of her tracks have proven her voice nicely complements a dance beat. But, then again, Robyn's made a killing off of danceable songs one can cry to, too. Perhaps it'll be a mix. Who knows! Who knows.
