She may not have achieved Alec Baldwin status yet, but Melissa McCarthy is no SNL newbie. She's already hosted the show twice, and she straight up knocked it out of the park each time. Though, that's not too surprising considering McCarthy has comedic chops for days. So, for her third hosting gig this weekend, let's just say that expectations are high.
NBC just released a slew of promo vids for the episode, and they can only be described as classic McCarthy. She takes the stage with Kenan Thompson for all kinds of goofy shenanigans. The twosome sing off key, shoot baskets (unsuccessfully), and mistake newspapers for the Olympic torch. All in all it's pretty good stuff.
