J.K. Rowling To Bring Diagon Alley To Life — Accio Firebolt!

Somebody must've sneaked some Felix Felicis into our coffee, 'cause this is turning into the best day ever. After announcing the expansion of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter last May, Universal Studios followed up with this press release, offering all the glorious details of the magical world's extension. And, let us tell you — it's more than any muggle could dream of — except J.K. Rowling, of course.
Aside from the overwhelming scale and state-of-the-art special effects, what makes the Universal Studios experience so phenomenal is Rowling's involvement in creating it. With input from Rowling and Stuart Craig (production designer on all eight Potter films), Universal has accomplished a faithful representation of everything in Hogsmeade (and, we're betting Diagon Alley, too) — from Honeydukes to the pumpkin juice — and imbued this tangible Wizarding World with the same magnetism as the one we've been imagining for almost two decades.
We've got Universal's illustrations of the new Diagon Alley (which hides, so perfectly, behind a London facade built to scale), plus all the enchanting details on what we'll discover when the park opens in June 2014. So, check out the eye-popping images and tell us in the comments what you're most excited to see!
Now, if only we could apparate...
