More Men Are Wearing Hair Extensions (Thanks, Harry Styles!)

Look, there's no question that Harry Styles is a good-looking lad (even if some of us are old enough to be his mother big sister). But, is he dreamy enough to spur Englishmen to don hair extensions? If The Telegraph is to believed, the answer is yes.
According to the paper, extensions brand Great Lengths estimates that men will make up 10 percent of this year's sales — in part because of Styles and his handsome mop of hair. "There are men who want an instant effect instead of having to wait for their hair to grow out to achieve the style they are looking for," Great Lengths educator Amanda Jackson told the paper. And, with Harry Styles influencing both mane and men, the idea is that London chaps want longer, luxurious locks — now, now, now!

A quick glance at Great Length's site reveals "men-hancements," their term for guy-friendly hair extensions. We'll admit, the guys look good in their new 'dos, but we're not convinced that men-hancements are actually a growing trend. Maybe it's an other-side-of-the-pond thing? Either way, hey, it's preferable to a toupee. (The Telegraph)
