So, listen. You already know that we've had our collective eye on Miss Jena Malone as she's made the rounds at all the global Catching Fire premieres (often, sadly upstaged by J. Lawr's pixie cut. Don't worry, Jena — we're watching you!). We wrote about her beautifully bodacious brows, and our fashion team marveled at her totally fearless fashion picks. Guys, it's official — Malone is rocking the heck out of those red carpets, from her perfectly coiffed head to her spike-heel-clad feet.
The latest example of Malone's premiere-night mastery? This incredibly bold, incredibly awesome makeup look that she wore to the New York premiere of the latest Hunger Games installment. This look is not only strong and beautiful — it actually manages to remind us how much we love taking makeup risks. To go with her minimalist-chic ensemble, Malone chose a hyper-extended, slightly mod cat-eye, rimmed in a seafoam-tinged shadow, plus bright coral blush and matching shiny lipstick.
Paired with a swept-back 'do, Malone's face makes a perfect statement. One that we really, really want to steal for New Year's Eve, naturally. Readers, what do you think of Malone's latest makeup move? And, more importantly, would you consider rocking this bold beauty risk?
