Lululemon Is “Celebrating Failure,” Resells Its Recalled Pants

Lululemon thinks that its recalled pants deserve a second chance. So, the brand decided to just create that opportunity for itself. As reported by Business Insider, despite the recall of 17% of its merchandise, the yoga-gear company has tried to bounce back with the very same pants that were once dubbed too sheer for a downward dog. It reinforced the bottoms and appropriately called them the "Second Chance Pant." Because, doesn't everyone deserve one?
Of course, while the pants may technically be a "patched-up version" of those recalled, the prices are still perfectly intact, selling for $92 per pair. And, we can't totally blame the brand for trying to bounce back. The endearing tag on the pants even reads, "This is what celebrating failure looks like!" Yet, despite the efforts to create a yoga pant that not only makes a woman — actually all women — feel comfortable to twist and stretch to her heart's content, the jury is still out on whether these second-life buys will actually meet expectations. But, hey, maybe the third time will be the charm. (Business Insider)
