Whether found in the jungle of an untouched island or created by a full team of experts and high-performance lighting equipment, beauty is beauty. Or, so is the subtle, unsaid implication of Francois Nars' new photography book.

The makeup artist, creative director/founder of NARS Cosmetics, and established photographer's latest release from Rizzoli boasts a collection of his own personal photos taken on Motu Tané, an island which he owns off the coast of Bora Bora. Dubbed Tahiti: Faery Lands, the book includes breathtaking portraits of some of the island's native inhabitants, landscapes, and a wide array of natural wonders. In addition to inspiring anyone with an appreciation for beauty, travel, and photography, it will also look pretty incredible on your coffee table.
