Kate Bosworth's Braid Mohawk Is Shutting. It. Down.

It's not that we hate Kate Bosworth because she's pretty...but, you know, she's just so darn pretty. (And, one of the consistently best-dressed stars out there.) However, for all of her prettiness, Bosworth has not been much of a major risk-taker when it comes to beauty. She always looks great, but often plays it safe with neutral makeup, and loose, shiny (oh, so shiny) waves.
Well, forget what you thought you knew about Kate, because she's taking her status as a style tastemaker to a whole new level with this gorgeous — and badass — braided 'do that she wore last night to the NYC premiere of her new film Big Sur. Slicked back on the sides and plaited down the center of her head, this pretty-punk fauxhawk is one of the coolest celeb hairstyles we've seen on the red carpet in a long time. So cool, in fact, that we might even forgive the actress for searing our eyes with her pure gorgeousness.
We can't wait to snag this style for ourselves — we love how it's casual enough for a yoga class, but (as Bosworth demonstrates) special enough to dress up and take on the town. Tell us: How would you wear this glam-rock 'do?
