Rihanna unknowingly brought the heavy hand of the law down on another illegal establishment while passing through Thailand.
During the Thai leg of her Diamonds World Tour last month, Rihanna went out to a bar-cum-strip club, and witnessed some pretty crazy things; things that even Stefan on SNL could never dream up. To try and stomach the absurd body contortions of one performer, she tweeted about it, obviously. Well, those four innocent tweets have landed the Phuket bar owner in jail over the weekend, in a crackdown on shows featuring nude — and lewd — dancers.
This is the second time Rihanna has gotten someone arrested in Thailand. Just two weeks ago, her Instagram selfie featuring a slow loris led to the arrest of animal smugglers. And, now this. "Authorities found out about this bar the morning after Rihanna tweeted about it," the island's local district chief, Weera Kerdsirimongkon told the Associated Press, "but we were not able to catch them violating the law until Saturday night."
Perhaps RiRi should consider renaming her tour Law & Order: DWT (Diamonds World Tour). She already has the Batman outfit down, after all. (Associated Press)
