Jennifer Lawrence may be flexing her acting muscles in a remake of the John Steinbeck classic, East of Eden, but she's also not afraid to go all-out silly-stupid. The actress is shooting a "secret" cameo for the upcoming Dumb and Dumber sequel, The Hollywood Reporter confirms. She'll reportedly play a younger version of Kathleen Turner's character. Luckily for J. Lawr, it all works out geographically, too; she is already shooting Hunger Games: Mockingjay in Atlanta, and the Dumb and Dumber To set isn't far away.
The sequel, set to be released in 2014, revisits the Farrelly Brothers' 1994 iconic comedy and will follow Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels on another misguided, gag-fueled road trip. Other cast confirmations include Rob Riggle, Kathleen Turner, Rachel Melvin, Laurie Holden and Steve Tom. In an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Lawrence praised Dumb and Dumber. "I know every word to Dumb and Dumber, Step Brothers and Anchorman," she boasted. Perhaps she was dropping us a hint? (The Hollywood Reporter)
