Yesterday, Nicole Kidman was reportedly knocked to the ground by a bike-riding paparazzo named Carl Wu. Kidman was returning to the Carlyle Hotel in Manhattan's Upper East Side after attending Calvin Klein's Fashion Week presentation. A witness told TMZ that Wu rode up "dangerously close" to the star of The Paperboy and Bewitched but was not able to brake in time to avoid hitting her. Despite the fact that Kidman allegedly sustained no injuries, paramedics were called as a safety measure. Still, she will reportedly press charges against Wu. TMZ claims the Wu will be issued a ticket for riding his bike on the sidewalk, but will not be arrested. One officer said, "An accident's an accident."
But poor Carl Wu just can't catch a break. In 2010, Wu was involved in a scuffle with Lady Gaga's bodyguards who, in Wu's telling, allegedly punched the photographer when he was trying to get a snap of the singer.
