Every so often we get a little inattentive while thumbing through our Instagram stream — you can only look at half-eaten plates of food and yawn-inducing selfies for so long, guys. And, yes, we admittedly like to head to Instagram’s blog to see what’s cooking since the photo-sharing app frequently drums up new users to follow. Well, S.F.-based user and makeup artist Dress Up Box (aka Hannah Concannon) puts every selfie we’ve ever seen to shame.
The Cindy Sherman-esque portraiture shows Concannon dressed to the nines, and hardly recognizable in a slew of eye-popping characters (with the occasional food shot thrown in for good measure!). Concannon was challenged by a buddy to make art every day and, as a result, has posted regularly on her Instagram for the past 180 days. Instagram has cherry-picked her account as one to follow NOW, and we have to just face it, our feed may never be the same again.
