The Perfect Vintage Ensemble, Courtesy Of This Stylist Extraordinaire

22
Whether it's trolling Etsy or pounding the pavement at the Randolph Street Market (coming up July 27 and 28, by the way), we heart vintage — no wait, we're kinda obsessed. But as with any shopping purchase, your impulses can get the best of you. So, to help you separate the good from the bad (and the downright ugly), there's Aisha Faridi — stylist, blogger, and our latest girl crush.
Faridi recently curated three stunning vintage ensembles on her rad blog, Bold Minimalist, made up of goods she found at the Randolph Street Market. Using vintage Lanvin as the core piece for each look, Faridi mixed in modern-day separates from brands like Zara, ASOS, Yves Saint Laurent, and Céline. To keep the old-school flair, she accessorized with vintage jewelry.
Our takeaway? When shopping for vintage, think of what will work with what you already own at home. Reinvent your LBD with a killer scarf, jazz up a pair of slacks (or jeans!) with a gorgeous blouse that nobody else at the office will be sporting — you get the idea. For the full scoop on Faridi's vintage threads, check out the Bold Minimalist blog.
