We've come to expect a lot from Nicki Minaj. Whether she's sporting neon hair or wearing an outfit made entirely of stuffed animals, there's no typical look for her — and that's exactly what we love. So, when we got our hands on the newest issue of Marie Claire we weren't all that surprised to see her sporting a full-on mohawk.
Regardless of your personal feelings about punk couture, there's no denying that Minaj straight up killed this look. Sure, it's a little over-the-top, but so is Nicki. The rapper paired her edgy 'do with pin-straight platinum locks and a skin-tight LaQuan Smith bodysuit that leaves very little to the imagination.
For the cover look, Minaj kept things shockingly demure with a simple bob, minimal makeup, and an embellished plaid frock. While the star looks undoubtedly gorgeous, we have to admit that we prefer our Nicki with a side of quirk. (MTV Style)
