Get Lifted At This Cloud Photography Closing Party

Clouds1
Clouds have gotten a lot of air time (zing!) recently with the introduction of wireless computing platforms and data-sharing systems. So much so that unless you tilt your head way back — and sometimes, even that won't do the trick in this sky-scraped city — it's easy to forget just how incredible actual clouds can be. It often escapes us how, though they may not be able to help you get that group presentation complete, they can still serve as a source of inspiration and beauty.
Luckily, photographer Andrew Kist has not forgotten. In fact, he's been reminding us this entire time. But, in case you missed his latest collection, he's throwing one last closing party tonight at the 11th St. Bar. So, get off your computer and celebrate Real Clouds, Not Data.
When: Thursday, June 6, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: The 11th St. Bar, 510 East 11th Street (between Avenue A and Avenue B); 212-982-3929.
