A Collection You’ll Wear All Vacation Long

Expressly created for the worldly girl who exudes effortless cool, Samantha Pleet's spring '11 collection is giving us a serious case of wanderlust. We gave you a sneak peek at the looks in Pleet's diary for Fashion Week, and, thank St. Nick, the lookbook has finally arrived. Dreamily shot by photographer Andrew de Francesco, the snaps allow the clothes to take center stage. We want to swipe them all and jump on the next flight to, well, anywhere other than cold gray New York. Muted neutrals and rich jewel tones are colors usually reserved for fall and winter, but Pleet keeps them light and fresh with airy, summery shapes and demure mesh inlays. We love the playful mix of oversized and form-fitting, feminine silhouettes, and the lust-worthy swimsuits in ultra-flattering cuts we can't wait to rock come spring. There are also loads of unique sundresses that are a fresh take on the ubiquitous warm-weather uniform—trust us, you'll look chicer than any other girl on the block. Earthy prints add depth to the collection and are echoed in the cloth oxfords and sandals, perfect for all your Julia Roberts Eat, Pray, Love moments. And to make us sweat a little more, the designer tapped Bliss Lau to provide accessories—her slinky, sexy body chains toughen things up in the best way. So, while we'd love to jet off to an exotic locale, we'll just throw on a few of Pleet's pieces, close our eyes, and play pretend.
