Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2026 is coming to an end, with participants taking part in one Dinner Party before heading to MAFS Final Vows. It's the time when couples have to decide whether to commit to their partner on the outside or brutally dump them at the altar. While most couples have an idea of what their partner is going to choose when they arrive at Final Vows, there have been some particularly hard decisions to watch in the past, like when Duncan James blindsided Alyssa Barmonde.

The final MAFS 2026 Dinner Party will air on Channel 9 on Monday, April 6 at 7.30pm. MAFS Final Vows will air on Tuesday, April 7 at 7.30pm. We can assume the Reunion Dinner Party and Commitment Ceremony will take place on April 13 and 14.

There are a handful of couples still together for the last task: Alissa Fay and David Momoh, Gia Fleur and Scott McCristal, Bec Zacharia and Danny Hewitt, Stella Mickunaite and Filip Gregov, and Rachel Gilmore and Steven Danyluk. An anonymous source has confirmed to Refinery29 Australia that Gia and Scott quit the experiment prior to Final Vows, so they are done for good. The rest of the couples make it to Final Vows, but only two of them continue on in the outside world.

According to our insider, Bec reaffirms her commitment to Danny at Final Vows, but he rejects her, choosing not to continue their relationship outside of the experiment. This is bound to be a tearjerker, as the bride has consistently told him how much she loves him, while the groom has never said it back.

"Danny was there for fame, not love," an insider tells Refinery29 Australia. "He was clearly not into Bec from the get-go. It was written on his face at every opportunity; however, behind the scenes, he was telling her daily how happy she was and how strong they were as a couple." According to our source, he even told her he was falling in love with her, but he never had any real intention of making a relationship work in the outside world. "She was heartbroken... he dumped her at Final Vows."

Stella and Filip have been the golden couple of MAFS 2026 so far, and their Final Vows ceremony will cement their status. The pair agree to continue their relationship outside of the experiment, and surprise the rest of the MAFS cast with an engagement announcement during the Reunion Dinner Party.

Rachel and Steven have had a bumpy road on MAFS, but their relationship keeps going from strength to strength thanks to their work with the experts. Our source confirms the pair decide to stay together at Final Vows, but they only last two weeks out in the real world. The couple apparently found long-distance difficult.

"Rachel gave everything to that relationship and everyone saw Steven start to come around at the end," the insider says. However, Steven refused to make a plan to visit her after Final Vows was done, which caused their breakup. "[That was] really the icing on the cake for Rachel. It was a devastating blow. Even Mel [Schilling] asks Steven at the Reunion Commitment Ceremony, 'Why did you even come on this experiment?'"

Alissa and David's relationship has been crumbling in front of our eyes, and the Grass Is Greener task could be the final straw. Our insider says they both had breakup speeches to read during MAFS Final Vows, but David goes first and then refuses to let Alissa speak.

"I think Alissa has a bit of a lack of awareness when it comes to other people's feelings. And so I think David probably would have felt like his ability to express himself was definitely pushed away, and it was kind of Alissa's way or the highway a bit," the source claims. "Alissa has a lot of learning to do about how to speak to people."
