Are MAFS’ Bec And Danny Still Together?

We're at the end of Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2026, and everybody's wondering which couples last in the real world. There aren't that many left this year, but Bec Zacharia and Danny Hewitt made it to MAFS Final Vows.

Refinery29 Australia has some spoilers about what happens after MAFS Final Vows, and it's not looking good for these two. Below, we've rounded up everything we know about whether Bec and Danny are still together after MAFS 2026.

On a recent TikTok live, Bec said that Danny's friends said she was unlike his other exes. "[They] said that Danny's used to a quieter woman, who probably [isn't] quite so strong," she said. "I'm strong. I have opinions, I wanna be able [for] my husband and I to challenge each other, so I think that was pretty confronting for Danny."

During one of the later MAFS episodes, Danny also called Bec "almost perfect", but gave a massive hint as to what happens in their relationship. "There are two sides to Bec. One is almost perfect, and the other is almost impossible," he declared.

Bec poured her heart out during MAFS Final Vows, telling Danny that she loved him. His speech wasn't so kind, and he ended up dumping her on camera by putting her firmly in the friend zone. " Bec, I believe you're my soulmate as a friend, but I've come to realise there's doubt in my mind that you are my soulmate as a lover," he said. "Honestly, from the bottom of my heart, I am so sorry to do this to you, but I can't be your husband anymore."

An insider tells Refinery29 Australia that Danny may have had ulterior motives when it came to his actions on MAFS. "Danny was there for fame not love," they say. "He was clearly not into Bec from the get-go. It was written on his face at every opportunity; however, behind the scenes, he was telling her daily how happy she was and how strong they were as a couple."

According to our source, he even told her he was falling in love with her, but he never had any real intention of making a relationship work in the outside world. "She was heartbroken [when] he dumped her at Final Vows."

While Final Vows was a disaster for Bec and Danny, there's always a chance that the pair patched things up after filming ended. However, it's likely Bec and Danny are no longer together. We've uncovered two clues about the bride and groom moving on with other people after the experiment.

During a recent TikTok live, bride Rebecca Zukowski appeared to spoil the ending by telling Bec she should be getting out and dating more. "Seriously, Bec and Awhina [Rutene], you guys should be out there dating every man, dog, whatever, not man or dog, do you know what I mean?" Rebecca said. "Well Bec, you're married, you have to wait to see what happens, if you go the distance with Danny... but I'm just saying, I don't know, say things don't work out with you and Danny."

Stranded On Honeymoon Island star Georgia Moore also shared a video of who she assumed was Danny, hanging out on a beach with another woman. It doesn't look like these two go the distance, and judging by Danny's behaviour (and reluctance to commit to Bec throughout the experiment), we can't say we're surprised.
