You, Too, Can Wear Avian Heels

If you dare to wear heels on a night out, you might as well slip on an insane, bedazzled, and towering pair. Go for the gold. Rule the dance floor. Embrace the blisters. Buy those Epsom salts.
You don't even need to behave like a certain fictional writer and spend your whole paycheck on Manolo Blahniks (unless you want to, that is). Inspired by this street-style image, we decided to give an old pair of stilettos new wings. Even the most faint-hearted DIYer can transform her own sandals; it's literally a one-step how-to. Just don't get too carried away.

Let the shoes dry overnight to make sure the feathers stay secure. Then, this footwear's ready to flutter!
