Did Kylie Jenner Just Make This '90s Trend Acceptable Again?

If there’s one thing we know about Kylie Jenner — other than the fact that she’s mastered the art of being effortlessly cool — it’s that she always brings her beauty A-game. We might even go so far as to say that at 17, Jenner has become a beauty icon. (At that age, most of us were still wearing mismatched foundation and going overboard with the eyeliner, but that’s another story.)

While Kylie is clearly a fan of switching up her hair, she’s been keeping her makeup consistent for quite some time now — and, well, we’re completely obsessed. In particular, her signature rosy-brown-hued pout has helped reinforce the idea that the '90s-esque lip trend is here to stay. You go, girl.

“Next, you line the lips starting from the outer corners going up towards the cupids bow — go slightly above the lip line to create the effect of a fuller, more plump lip.” His go-to liners? MAC Lip Pencil and Nyx Slim Lip Pencil.

After repeating the same process on the bottom lip line, he then fills in the entire lip with the pencil. “To finish, I highlight the lip by adding a tiny bit of foundation just to the center of the bottom lip and blending well with my finger,” he tells us.

Well, friends, there you have it. Now that you have the dirty deets on how to achieve Kylie’s epic '90s lip look, go try it out for yourselves.
