See An Emotional Kim Kardashian Confront Caitlyn Jenner About Hurtful Comments

When Caitlyn Jenner's stunning Vanity Fair cover image introduced her to the world this June, celebrities, Kardashian/Jenner family members all showered Caitlyn with well-deserved messages of love and encouragement. But as a new preview of tomorrow night's I Am Cait reveals, the feature story that accompanied the groundbreaking cover contained some comments that the Kardashian sisters felt were a bit below the belt. Sitting down to discuss the issue with Jenner at her Malibu home, Kim defends sister Khloe's reaction to the article before thoughtfully telling Jenner, "I think that there's some things that you said that you might not realize are hurtful." What things, exactly? "You said that Kendall and Kylie were a distraction," Kim explains. "When they read that ... I don't know that they'll quite understand that." But Kim's most emotional reaction had to do with comments concerning her mom, Kris. The reality-star told Jenner that when she told the magazine, "had Kris been accepting to who I am, we still would be together," it was "the most unfair thing in the world to say." After listening to Kim's case, Jenner stands by her statements, however, explaining later in a confessional to camera that "It was an honest article. Sometimes when you're honest, it can be upsetting to some people." True enough. But, what child wants to hear their parent call them a distraction? What former significant other wants to bear all the blame for the end of a decades-long love? Maybe certain things are better left unsaid.
