Remember when orange lipstick was the shade on everyone's lips (literally)? Then, it was oxblood? Well, there's officially a new statement lip shade in town — neon violet — and, like its predecessors, it's thankfully way more wearable than it seems.
Behold: This photo of singer Lorde, a.k.a. the best evidence we've seen that this trend is here to stay, and that we all can and should get it on our lips immediately. She paired bed-head waves with a glamorous flick of liquid eyeliner and topped it all off with a full-on coat of vibrant purple lipstick. We haven't yet gotten intel on exactly what the color is, but we'd say that Make Up For Ever's Rouge Artist Intense in Pearly Violet is a dead ringer.
