What a day for pushing boundaries, huh? First, Robyn Lawley posed for Cosmo Australia and proved that just because she's technically a "plus-size model" doesn't mean she can't rock a sexy, skimpy bikini as well as the next girl. And now, Tyson Beckford is posing alongside transgender model Ines Rau in what has to be one of the — let's just say it — raunchiest photoshoots of the year.
We can't imagine what the mood was like in the studio that day. (Surely, there were gallons of oil.) But, we can say that this is a pretty impressive move by French magazine OOB. Oftentimes, transgender models are portrayed as exotic subjects of interest or as androgynous. That's fine, but it's nice to see a shoot that is not afraid to address the same blatant sexuality so common in magazines, head on. Big props to photographer Rodolfo Martinez for this one. After all, if we're going to get naked, it should be equal opportunity, right?
