Let's start things off on a positive note: We love Dakota Fanning; in fact, we've been fans of her work since Man On Fire. Throughout her career she's managed to stay relatively well-adjusted, and we want nothing but the best for her. (Oh, and don't even get us started on her enviable fashion!). So, when we got word that she had a new love interest, we perked right up.
Fanning is dating model Jamie Strachan, whom she was spotted out with in NYC with this week. The two have been snapped together before, but this latest pic shows they're definitely an item — and a happy one at that. Strachan has worked the camera for the likes of Calvin Klein, Gucci, and Michael Kors, but we think it's safe to say he's currently most famous for his association with Fanning.
Of course, there is one little detail that begs mentioning — he is 32 years old, giving them a 13-year age difference. Now, we know this is totally legal, but it still makes us feel a little bit iffy. We can see from the pictures that they're totally adorable together, but we can't shake that little voice in the back of our heads.
