The early days of a relationship are exciting. There are all the "firsts" to look forward to: The first date, the first kiss, and the first time you tell your friends about this person you sort of, maybe, quite like. Yes, it is all good, except, perhaps, when you are dating a member of the world's most popular boy band One Direction, with an obsessional teenage fan base, to boot.
It is reported that Ellie Goulding is dating Niall Horan after meeting (and kissing) him at V Festival last month. Goulding is keeping schtum about her love life, though she did say to The Mirror about Horan, "I just can’t talk about Niall. I won’t ever talk about my love life any more because it’s always then gone wrong when I have in the past." Fair enough, although the rumour mill isn't quite finished with Goulding, as news broke that the singer held hands with Ed Sheeran during Sunday's VMAs. Now, compared to Miley Cyrus's antics, this is small fry, but the singer still found time to take to Twitter to address the situation saying, "I love that holding hands with my friends means we are an item. In that case I'm in many relationships. Lover not a hater. *whatthef*ck." Quite right. We wish you all the best Miss Goulding in your future romantic endeavours — One Directioner or otherwise.
