While a soul-crushing heatwave like the one many of us experienced this past week will make a girl long for a major hair chop (must...get hair...off...neck), actress Karen Gillan took the heat-index-induced chop craving a step further and completely shaved her head. And guess what? She looks gorgeous.
Doctor Who's Gillan unveiled her new 'do (shaved for her role in the upcoming feature Guardians of the Galaxy) this weekend at Comic-Con. Yes, it's a little shocking, but we think this stark look is great on Gillan, whose gorgeous features shouldn't be hiding behind a wall of hair, anyway — check out those stunning eyes!
Besides looking beautiful, sporting a badass bald head makes Gillan look super-cool — literally and figuratively, of course.
