Admittedly, we do not know the inner workings of celebrity circles. We only know what the tabs present us, but, like the real world, we'd imagine there are friends, and then "friends" — especially when one's work involves a whole heckuva lot of egos. But when a part of your job is to show up on a carpet and look absolutely thrilled to see everyone, it's clear when you run into a couple of folks with whom you aren't entirely pleased. And, for some celebs, the inner monologue might show on the outer visage. Lo and behold, you get the grimace, the side-eye, the awkwardly unconvincing hug.
