Miami Bloggers Show Off Their Summer Musts: Ria Michelle

In Miami, we have a whole host of fashion bloggers who not only provide their readers with daily inspiration and fash-news, but also help lift our sartorial profile in the eyes of the rest of the country. Miami bloggers have a certain chispa, an attitude and flavor that comes from living in a truly multi-cultural city, where the people are as bright as the architecture and sun and sand are just part of everyday life.
So we've asked some of our favorite web-ladies to show us their secrets, be it a hair how-to or the best way to rock a bow in the 305 this summer. Our first blogging gal to strut her stuff in front of the lens is Ria Michelle, who offers up on-trend looks while also regularly sharing her shopping lists. She explained that her ultimate summer accessory is super bright lipstick, and she's shown us how to rock it with aplomb. Animal-print glasses plus retro attire reference the '80s spunk of neon lips, but her cat-eye shades and silver spiked-bracelets give the look just the right amount of edge. Click on to see how she did it!

"I am obsessed with pink lipstick, whether it's hot pink, a creamy coral, or a more purple-based. A fun alternative to red lips, I like to use pink lipstick to put the finishing touches on my makeup look.
When rocking pink lipstick you definitely want to keep the rest of your makeup look simple, especially if it's your first time taking bright lips out for a spin. The lips are the centerpiece. I usually use Urban Decay Naked II palette for a neutral eye look. Of course there are rules for pink: Know your undertones. If you have cooler skin, use one with blue undertones. If you have warm undertones — like me — you want something more orange or red-based."
Ria Michelle's lippy has plenty of summer mileage, and it's a quick fix to any daytime look...or a sassy addition to a night time ensemble.
