Now in its fifth iteration, ReadysetDC's Fashion District event series is always a good time, whether you go to support local designers, peep the creative scene, or just indulge in drinks, tunes, and shopping.
But instead of the runway shows of past years, this Fashion District event will take place in a Georgetown showroom location, where guests can touch the garments, chat with designers, and purchase items during the event. Designers include Kelly Tang, Artaya, Ginger Root Design, Aliceanna, and more. You still have time to scoop a $40 early-bird ticket, which will get you in an hour ahead of the crowds, so you can enjoy a catered reception and a free cocktail. But don't worry: The regular $30 ticket gets you a free cocktail, too.

The exact location will be announced by ReadysetDC later today; the hosts note that since the location isn't metro-accessible, they've made a special deal with Uber — first-time riders can take $15 off their trip by using promo code ReadysetDCFashion, when reserving a ride to the event.
