This Horror-Themed Ballet Is Getting Us Stoked For Halloween

Dracula3_600x375slide
Lacking inspiration for your Halloween costume? While we think Christian Grey will be the scariest fictional character to roam the streets this year, there's nothing like a classic horror archetype to get your blood pumping. Enter Dracula, and, more to the point, Dracula — The Washington Ballet's new performance that debuts at the Kennedy Center later this month.
Chilling and theatrical, the performance casts Count Dracula as a master seducer with a serious dark side, putting a fresh spin on one of literatures most terrifying legends. The male lead has a bit of an Interview With the Vampire thing going on, so if you're not inspired to throw on a cape and vamp it up, you should probably check for a pulse.
When: October 24 through November 7. See full schedule here.
Where: The Kennedy Center, Eisenhower Theatre, Tickets are $25 to $125; purchase them online here.
