First Look: Unionmade Comes To Marin

If you haven't been to the revamped Marin Country Mart in Larkspur yet, you now have little reason not to hop on a ferry or catch a ride over the bridge to get there. As of this weekend, much beloved menswear shop Unionmade is open for business in the rapidly expanding shopping center, which already boasts boutiques by Erica Tanov and Malia Mills, as well as a farmers' market with pony rides for the kids, movie nights for the adults, artisanal bites by cult pastry shop Miette, scoops by Three Twins Ice Cream, and outposts of El Huarache Loco and Rustic Bakery on the way.
It is, however, in Larkspur, so we understand it you can't get there right this very moment, which is why we're bringing you this exclusive first-look of the North Bay boutique — Unionmade's third outpost — which cleverly connects to an adjoining barber shop and sicker-than-average post office. Peep the pics, shot by local photo star Andrew Paynter, hear about the new shop from owner Todd Barket, and get ready to book a road trip — stat!
