Slideshow: A Brooklyn Manicurist’s Insane Nail Art

We know she's been around for awhile, but this uber-creative nail artist has managed to slip our grip... until now. On a 'Billyburg jaunt yesterday, we stumbled upon one far-out nail salon, perfectly entitled "Hello Beautiful." Run by Naomi Yasuda, who hails from Japan but lives in NY, the creative wunderkind has managed to quietly amass a hip-kid clientele in only a few short years since her move across seas in '07. Studying nail design at Chunichi Beauty College in Nagoya, Naomi has prettified las uñas of ladies like Lady Gaga, Amanda Lepore, Kid Sister and Alicia Keys, to name just a few. Her spectrum of claw art ranges from popsicle-laden nails to freaky cartoonish eyeball designs, but she says nothing is too extreme when it comes to your nails. Our crystal ball says... this talon trailblazer has her fanciest work ahead of her—cue to us (jokes). Check out our slideshow for Naomi's medley of painted nail designs, that also serves a good dose of DIY inspiration (snowstorm nails, anyone?).
Scroll through to see some some mint examples of Yasuda's nail genius!
