Reese Witherspoon is receiving an award (we presume just for being amazing), and if you'd like, you can watch. The Gene Siskel Film Center is presenting Ms. Witherspoon with the Gene Siskel Film Center Renaissance Award this Saturday. Those wishing to attend are welcome to purchase a $400 ticket to the event, but we're wondering: would you? The money does benefit the film center, so we can all calm down a little, but still. We're thrilled for Reese (obvi), yet $400 seems excessive for like, anything, much less a celeb sighting.
