When we find ourselves in NYC, there’s always one task we must complete before departing. And that’s chowing down at the cult-followed, LES resto The Meatball Shop. Our mouths are watering just thinking about it. So, we were pretty psyched when we found out that Kyle Itani, one of the guys behind the famed spot, relocated and is now helming Oakland’s tasty new resto, Hopscotch.
And to make matters even more appetizing, we got word that The Meatball Shop is hosting a one-night-only pop-up at the East Bay joint — saving us the trip to NYC.
