With spring officially upon us, it’s not only time to start embracing all the latest trends and the great outdoors, but also to also don a fresh new signature scent. Rising to the occasion is Berkeley-based (and totally organic!) Juniper Ridge, which will be unleashing its limited-edition Winter Redwood perfume at the same time that it opens the doors to its brand-new Redwood Distillery, this Saturday!
Want to take it all in? Just head up, all the way up, to Philo in Mendocino County this weekend, to check out the Redwood Distillery pop-up shop (which will be open to the public just once a month), enjoy some yummy BBQ and a presentation of short films from The Greenhorns and Our Land. All funds from the one-day event will support the Henry Woods State Park and its campaign to keep from closing down.
So, come check out the perfume (it's said to capture the scent of the Anderson Valley!), grab a bite to eat, and surround yourself with the nature used to create all those awesome all-natural beauty products. Ready to for an outdoorsy day trip? Jot down the deets below, and hit the road!
When: Saturday, March 24, noon to 5 p.m.
Where: The Redwood Distillery, 7501 Highway 128, Philo; 510-521-7204.
