What do you do when you're not working? I party, maybe too much. But when I'm not hungover I'll randomly go to an exhibition or I'll read. I'm really into tracking the music scene. I love music.
New York, Capsule tradeshow
Name: Joy Mattar
What do you do? I'm a freelance rep for Pharmacy Industries and Toy Me.
Where are you from? I live in Paris half of the time and the other half in L.A.

Any bands that you've recently discovered, or maybe rediscovered that you're into? I've been listening to the Gossip and Rage Against the Machine again. I'm also really into the New Young Pony Club and Radio Dpt.
How would you describe your style? It changes every day! I love shoes and they can range from sneakers to the highest high-heels. I also like expressing myself through makeup. I recently saw Factory Girl and a few days later ran to M.A.C. and told them to do an Edie Sedgwick look on me.
Do you usually get inspiration from movies for your looks? I won't really copy the looks I see but I definitely get a lot of inspiration from the looks in Rosemary's Baby and a lot of French movies from the '70s. They are so amazing…if you saw them you would die!
Where are you off to after Capsule? I'll be going to L.A. for a few weeks, then back in NYC, then Paris, and then either to Milan or London for an internship.
