First Look: Hyden Yoo's Dark Doo-Wop Fall 2011 Lookbook

We've loved local designer Hyden Yoo's elegant collection aesthetic for some time, but this season, he's taken his mens' and womens' looks in a deeper, darker direction and produced a fall '11 lookbook, shot at the Soho House, to match. Calling out the 1950's English yen for all things Edwardian, both Yoo's boys and the girls have a touch of the dangerous dandy about them, but are never over-styled or unapproachable. In this poolroom party lookbook shot by The Supervisory, there's plenty of devilish do-wop doings for sure—drinks, dark lighting, ducktailed hair dos that we may have to steal, and… hold on… are those cigarettes? Are those even legal any more?
