Green is Good: Kermit is Fashion’s Latest Muse

kermit-the-frog
Back in December, we spotted Mickey and Minnie making the rounds on some very fashionable ladies and gents, gracing tees, headbands, and even slip-on sneakers. But our favorite two-eared friend might have a worthy competitor, this time from green muppet Kermit the Frog. Not only did Terry Richardson feature the wide-mouthed doll in an entire Supreme campaign, but Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, he of Prêt-à-Porter fame, sent furry Kermit hats and a cartoonish frock down his fall '09 runway. And maybe we're just imagining it, but that furry green vest from Louis Vuitton's spring '09 runway has muppet fever written all over it. Well, what better way to go green than with the original ambassador of the color, right?
