Get Jealous: A Local Blogger Goes To M.A.C, Leaves With A Custom Lipglass

For one Chicago blogger the magical world of M.A.C is like a giant candy store. We were lucky enough to hear about this fabulous beauty excursion from Afrobella’s very own Patrice Yursik. The local blogger was chosen to visit the M.A.C factory and create her own lipglass color. It was the experience of a lifetime: when she created her own lipglass at the M.A.C factory in Canada. “I felt like I was in Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory and I had just won a golden ticket.” she laughs. Creating All Of My Purple Life was a no-brainer for Patrice. “Purple has always been my power color…I wanted a color that would look universally beautiful on all skin tones.” She was able to achieve this by creating a purple that can be layered or a bolder look or swiped for a more sheer look. Naming the purple tube was easy, she channeled her love for Prince. “All Of My Purple Life comes from Prince’s song “Erotic City”, which is from the album Purple Rain. I was obsessed with listening to it as a kid in Trinidad.” All Of My Purple Life, along with the rest of the M.A.C Blogger Obsession Collection, will be available ONLINE ONLY for the next six weeks, so hurry up and grab your piece of the magical world of M.A.C.
