When it comes to cool yet under-explored destinations, Georgia Avenue NW pretty much takes the cake. A major thoroughfare that connects Maryland and the District, the street passes through several neighborhoods (Petworth, Park View, Brightwood Park) and is dotted with an amazing array of eateries, inviting shops, and plenty of other cool destinations. While we recommend scouring the strip block by block — lace up those comfy sneaks! — we went ahead and did some preliminary sidewalk-strolling for you.
