As you probably already figured, we're in love with Emanuel Ungaro's fall 09 collection. And one accessory we were especially smitten with were designer Esteban Cortazar's studded tights, which came paired with voluminous frocks or flirty silk shorts. Whether zig-zagging up from sky-high platforms or dotted all around like super-shiny, super-awesome polka dots, we're loving this new take on the tried-and-true trend. Doo.Ri also showed something similar on her fall '09 runway, and told WWD that the orders for her crystal-and-sequined-studded tights have been out of control—even if they are painful to cross your legs in. So while we wait for the tights to hit the market, we might be trying out this D-I-Y trend at home, with thick leggings and a pack of silver studs or crystals from the craft store.
