Say What? A Designing Women-Themed Drag Show Hits The S.F. Stage

DW300x400
Before Sex and the City brought raunchy talk and glammed-up gear to our TV screens, there was another little sitcom, circa 1986, that did the same, but with serious Southern flare. That show was Designing Women (for all you youngsters out there), an addictive network comedy featuring four sassy and sharp Georgia gals that stole our hearts.
And sure, we can easily get our Designing Women fix on Lifetime, but we prefer something with a bit more panache. Introducing (and back by popular demand) Trannyshack’s Designing Women: Live! — a drag-tastic interpretation of two classic episodes. This in-person iteration is guaranteed to tickle your ribs. Trust us, we can attest after peeping the ridiculously funny (and sold-out) SATC drag show over the summer.
