"Toddler-sized OshKosh B’Gosh overalls."
What are you wearing?
First Look: "A dress Meredith and I designed, Zara boots, and a smock I found on Etsy. I'm actually attracted to how hit or miss Etsy purchases can be. This smock was definitely an impulse buy that worked out in my favor. I wish you could feel the fabric. It's denim but silky and quite heavy, so it adds a dramatic element to something like this bodycon I would probably never wear by itself (not my thing)."
Second Look: "Courtshop jeans, Robert Clergerie shoes, a shirt I designed with my friend Meredith Shank, and my mom's belt. I really like the way these jeans fit; they’re high-waisted without being constricting, and they look great with crop-tops. Obviously, I thought a denim-on-denim look was appropriate for this story!"
Third Look: "My boyfriend's Acne jeans, rag & bone shirt, vintage flats, and an Assembly backpack. Colored denim makes lazy outfits more interesting."
How many pairs of jeans do you own?
"I don’t own that many pairs of jeans (probably five?), but I own a crazy amount of denim shirts. Dark washes, light washes, floral prints, shirt-dresses..."
Do you have a preferred philosophy when it comes to jeans: Sexy and skinny, or loose and comfy?
"Loose and comfy."
"It depends on what else I'm wearing!"
What's your favorite way to wear your jeans and with what?
"Jeans are so versatile that I don't think I can pick one favorite way to wear them. They can be the staple of an androgynous or really feminine outfit."
If your jeans had a name or theme song, what would it be? Or do they?
"Dolly Parton anything (she loves denim, too)."
What's your favorite example of celebrity-jean wearing (i.e., Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA album cover)?
"Daria Werbowy is a denim-wearing inspiration."
